I am very satisfied with my new NP, Ying Liu. I found her to be warm and personable and a very intelligent healthcare practitioner. I found her to be up to date on the current healthcare trends as well. I appreciated that she met me where I was at and didn’t try to reinvent the wheel, but suggested a few modifications here and there. Most of all, I appreciated that she included me in decision making and wasn’t dictatorial as many healthcare providers are nowadays. I look forward to my continued care with NP, Ying Liu.
My main concern with Ying was wondering if she would be able to really relate to my hormone concerns seeing as though, I assumed, she hasn’t gone through that stage yet. But as the appointment went on, she made some comments that convinced me she knew about hormones, so that reassured me.

Ying is an incredible healthcare professional who embarked on her journey in medicine with a focus on exercise physiology, graduating and becoming an MD in China in 2002. Her belief in the power of lifestyle changes led her to pursue a PhD program in exercise physiology in the United States. However, her passion for patient care led her to become an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner in the US.
With two decades of patient care experience, Ying's journey evolved as she delved into functional medicine and aesthetics. Her dedication to addressing the root causes of health issues led her to specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, and peptide therapy, certified by esteemed institutions such as the Hormonal Health Institute and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Currently holding an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Florida, Ying has the same prescribing rights as a Medical Doctor in Florida. Due to thousands of clinical hours and advanced training, Ying brings a wealth of experience to her patients at Healing Alternatives. Her conventional training and dedication to functional medicine, combined with her aesthetic skills (more about this in the coming months!), promise to enrich the scope of services offered.
Whether addressing hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders or facilitating aesthetic transformations, Ying Liu's holistic approach ensures that patients receive personalized care aimed at optimizing their health and well-being.
Ying is available for appointments on Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Her hourly rate is $350/hour. If you need refills for expiring prescriptions, please book an appointment, as Ying can only prescribe for you after reviewing your health history. If her schedule is filled up before you need the refill, Ying will provide a $175 Chart Review without the need for you to be present for an appointment; however, a one-week lead may be required.
